Course Structure, Modules & Key Features

The programme leads to a “Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)” and comprises 210 ECTS credits over seven semesters. It is is offered in full-time format at the Berlin campus. Throughout the studies, you learn the fundamentals of fashion design, from form and colour to cutting techniques, materials and conceptual approaches. Practice-oriented studios form a central component of the curriculum. Digital tools such as Adobe and CLO3D are integrated alongside AR, VR and AI applications. You design and realise physical and virtual collections, test new presentation formats and address sustainable design, textile technologies and global fashion cultures. Elective modules such as Digital Couture or Fashion Film enable individual specialisation. An integrated internship and the bachelor’s thesis conclude the programme and support your professional orientation within the fashion industry.

Admission Requirements

  • Recognised university entrance qualification, e.g. the German Abitur, Fachhochschulreife or an equivalent international qualification that entitles you to study at a university in Germany
  • And proof of your English language skills* (TOEFL with at least 80 points, IELTS with 6.5 or Duolingo with 95 points) or an official letter from your previous educational institution confirming that your lessons were conducted in English (Medium of Instruction Letter)
  • And your curriculum vitae with a current passport photo
  • And a copy of your ID card (front and back); for foreign students, a copy of your passport or national identity card
