Course Structure, Modules & Key Features

The program leads to a “Master of Arts (M. A.)” and comprises 120 credit points. It is offered as a distance learning program in English and can be completed in four semesters full-time or six semesters part-time. The study concept is based on specially designed self-study materials, complemented by online lectures, tutorials, and exercises. This structure allows flexible scheduling of study times. Optional webinars as well as summer and winter schools provide opportunities to gain practical insights and interact with experts and fellow students. The curriculum is divided into compulsory and elective modules, enabling you to tailor the program to your individual interests. The final semester is dedicated to the Master’s thesis, supported by academic guidance and colloquia.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports, health, or nutrition sciences (or comparable qualification)
  • Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree plus relevant qualifications and professional experience in sport and/or nutrition
  • And 10 ECTS in nutrition (for sports science graduates) or 10 ECTS in sports science (for nutrition graduates)
  • As well as a proof of English proficiency (at least B2 level or equivalent) or at least seven years of English education

Tuition Fees and Financing

  • The tuition fees for a four-semester program amount to EUR 495 per month (total: EUR 11,880)
  • For a six-semester program, the monthly tuition fee is EUR 370 (total: EUR 13,320)
